2 Mose 31:18-32:10
Hoffnung für Alle
Die Übergabe der Gesetzestafeln (5. Mose 9,9‒11)

Exodus 31:18-32:10
King James Version
18 And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.
32 And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
2 And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me.
3 And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron.
4 And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
5 And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, To morrow is a feast to the Lord.
6 And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.
7 And the Lord said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves:
8 They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
9 And the Lord said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people:
10 Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation.

18 And when He had made an end of speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave Moses (A)two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone, written with the finger of God.
The Gold Calf(B)
32 Now when the people saw that Moses (C)delayed coming down from the mountain, the people (D)gathered together to Aaron, and said to him, (E)“Come, make us [a]gods that shall (F)go before us; for as for this Moses, the man who (G)brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.”
2 And Aaron said to them, “Break off the (H)golden earrings which are in the ears of your wives, your sons, and your daughters, and bring them to me.” 3 So all the people broke off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them to Aaron. 4 (I)And he received the gold from their hand, and he fashioned it with an engraving tool, and made a molded calf.
Then they said, “This is your god, O Israel, that (J)brought you out of the land of Egypt!”
5 So when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it. And Aaron made a (K)proclamation and said, “Tomorrow is a feast to the Lord.” 6 Then they rose early on the next day, offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people (L)sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.
7 And the Lord said to Moses, (M)“Go, get down! For your people whom you brought out of the land of Egypt (N)have corrupted themselves. 8 They have turned aside quickly out of the way which (O)I commanded them. They have made themselves a molded calf, and worshiped it and sacrificed to it, and said, (P)‘This is your god, O Israel, that brought you out of the land of Egypt!’ ” 9 And the Lord said to Moses, (Q)“I have seen this people, and indeed it is a [b]stiff-necked people! 10 Now therefore, (R)let Me alone, that (S)My wrath may burn hot against them and I may [c]consume them. And (T)I will make of you a great nation.”
