The Voice

Eternal One: ⁵Don’t come any closer. Take off your sandals and stand barefoot on the ground in My presence, for this ground is holy ground.^[a]

⁵“Do not come closer,” He said. “Remove the sandals from your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.”^(A)

⁵And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.

⁵“Do not come any closer,”^(A) God said. “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.”^(B)
