40 Cũng dệt áo lót, khăn đội đầu và thắt lưng cho các con trai, để cho họ được uy nghi và đẹp đẽ. 41 Sau khi con mặc các bộ áo lễ đó cho A-rôn và các con trai của người, con sẽ xức dầu và biệt họ riêng ra thánh để họ phục vụ Ta với chức vụ thầy tế lễ.
42 Cũng may quần lót để che thân thể, từ bụng xuống đến đùi. 43 A-rôn và các con trai người phải mặc quần này khi vào Trại Hội Kiến hay khi đến gần bàn thờ để phục vụ trong Nơi Thánh, để họ khỏi mang tội và chết. Đây là một luật lệ đời đời áp dụng cho A-rôn và cho dòng dõi người.

40 Make tunics, sashes and caps for Aaron’s sons(A) to give them dignity and honor.(B) 41 After you put these clothes(C) on your brother Aaron and his sons, anoint(D) and ordain them. Consecrate them so they may serve me as priests.(E)
42 “Make linen undergarments(F) as a covering for the body, reaching from the waist to the thigh. 43 Aaron and his sons must wear them whenever they enter the tent of meeting(G) or approach the altar to minister in the Holy Place,(H) so that they will not incur guilt and die.(I)
“This is to be a lasting ordinance(J) for Aaron and his descendants.
