Exodus 15:6-11
New International Version
7 “In the greatness of your majesty(D)
you threw down those who opposed you.
You unleashed your burning anger;(E)
it consumed(F) them like stubble.
8 By the blast of your nostrils(G)
the waters piled up.(H)
The surging waters stood up like a wall;(I)
the deep waters congealed in the heart of the sea.(J)
9 The enemy boasted,
‘I will pursue,(K) I will overtake them.
I will divide the spoils;(L)
I will gorge myself on them.
I will draw my sword
and my hand will destroy them.’
10 But you blew with your breath,(M)
and the sea covered them.
They sank like lead
in the mighty waters.(N)
11 Who among the gods
is like you,(O) Lord?
Who is like you—
majestic in holiness,(P)
awesome in glory,(Q)
working wonders?(R)
