5 Moise şi Aaron s-au dus apoi la Faraon şi i-au zis: „Aşa vorbeşte Domnul, Dumnezeul lui Israel: ‘Lasă pe poporul Meu să plece, ca să prăznuiască(A) în pustie un praznic în cinstea Mea’.” 2 Faraon a răspuns: „Cine(B) este Domnul, ca să ascult de glasul Lui şi să las pe Israel să plece? Eu nu cunosc pe Domnul şi nu voi(C) lăsa pe Israel să plece.”

2 Dar Faraon a răspuns:
– Cine este Domnul ca eu să-L iau în seamă şi să-l las pe Israel să plece? Nu-L cunosc pe Domnul şi nu-l voi lăsa pe Israel să plece.

5 Afterward Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and said, “This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘Let my people go,(A) so that they may hold a festival(B) to me in the wilderness.’”
2 Pharaoh said, “Who is the Lord,(C) that I should obey him and let Israel go? I do not know the Lord and I will not let Israel go.”(D)
