³ And many peoples will come and say,
“Come, let’s go up to the mountain of the Lord,
To the house of the God of Jacob;
So that He may teach us ^[a]about His ways,
And that we may walk in His paths.”
For ^[b]the law will go out ^(A)from Zion
And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

¹³ You were in ^(A)Eden, the garden of God;
^(B)Every precious stone was your covering:
The ^(C)ruby, the topaz and the diamond;
The beryl, the onyx and the jasper;
The lapis lazuli, the turquoise and the emerald;
And the gold, the workmanship of your ^[a](D)settings and ^[b]sockets,
Was in you.
On the day that you were created
They were prepared.
¹⁴ You were the ^(E)anointed cherub who ^[c]covers,
And I placed you there.
You were on the holy ^(F)mountain of God;
You walked in the midst of the ^(G)stones of fire.

¹⁶ By the ^(A)abundance of your trade
^[a]You were internally ^(B)filled with violence,
And you sinned;
Therefore I have cast you as profane
From the mountain of God.
And I have destroyed you, you ^[b]covering cherub,
From the midst of the stones of fire.
