³⁵ “When one man's ox butts another's, so that it dies, then they shall sell the live ox and share its price, and the dead beast also they shall share.

³⁶ Or if it is known that the ox has been accustomed to gore in the past, and its owner has not kept it in, he shall repay ox for ox, and the dead beast shall be his.

¹¹ He shall not ^(A)go in to any dead bodies nor make himself unclean, even for his father or for his mother.

⁶ “All the days that he separates himself to the Lord ^(A)he shall not go near a dead body.

⁹ “And if any man dies very suddenly beside him and he defiles his consecrated head, then ^(A)he shall shave his head on the day of his cleansing; on the seventh day he shall shave it.

¹² Let her not be as one dead, whose flesh is half eaten away when he comes out of his mother's womb.”

⁴⁸ And he stood between the dead and the living, and ^(A)the plague was stopped.

⁴⁹ Now those who died in the plague were 14,700, ^(A)besides those who died in the affair of Korah.

^11 (A)“Whoever touches the dead body of any person shall be unclean seven days.

¹³ Whoever touches a dead person, the body of anyone who has died, and does not cleanse himself, ^(A)defiles the tabernacle of the Lord, ^(B)and that person shall be cut off from Israel; because the water for impurity was not thrown on him, he shall be unclean. His uncleanness is still on him.
