⁹ And you shall wrap their waists with ^(A)sashes, Aaron and his sons, and fit ^[a]caps on them, and they shall have ^(B)the priesthood by a permanent statute. So you shall ^[b](C)ordain Aaron and his sons.

²⁹ “^(A)The holy garments of Aaron shall be for his sons after him, ^[a]so that they may be anointed and ordained in them.

³³ So ^(A)they shall eat ^[a]those things by which atonement was made ^[b]at their ordination and consecration; but a ^[c](B)layman shall not eat them, because they are holy.

³⁵ “So you shall do for Aaron and for his sons, according to all that I have commanded you; you shall ^[a]ordain them for ^(A)seven days.

³³ And ^(A)you shall not go outside the doorway of the tent of meeting for seven days, until the day that the period of your ordination is fulfilled; for he will ^[a]ordain you through seven days.

³² So the priest who is anointed and ^[a]ordained to serve as priest in his father’s place shall make atonement: he shall put on ^(A)the linen garments, the holy garments,

¹⁰ ‘The priest who is ^[a]highest among his brothers, on whose head the anointing oil has been poured and ^[b]who has been consecrated to wear the garments, ^(A)shall not ^[c]uncover his head nor tear his clothes;

³ These are the names of the sons of Aaron, the ^(A)anointed priests, whom he ^[a]ordained to serve as priests.
