⁹ It shall become dust all over the land of Egypt and shall cause festering boils on humans and animals throughout the whole land of Egypt.”^(A)

² So the first angel went and poured his bowl on the earth, and a foul and painful sore came on those who had the brand of the beast and who worshiped its image.^(A)

²⁷ The Lord will afflict you with the boils of Egypt, with tumors, scurvy, and itch, of which you cannot be healed.^(A)

⁷ So the accuser^[a] went out from the presence of the Lord and inflicted loathsome sores on Job from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head.^(A)

³⁵ The Lord will strike you on the knees and on the legs with grievous boils of which you cannot be healed, from the sole of your foot to the crown of your head.^(A)

¹⁸ “When there is on the skin of one’s body a boil that has healed,^{(A) 19} and in the place of the boil there appears a white swelling^[a] or a reddish-white spot, it shall be shown to the priest.^{(B) 20} The priest shall make an examination, and if it appears deeper than the skin and its hair has turned white, the priest shall pronounce him unclean; this is a defiling disease, broken out in the boil.
