⁹ It will become fine dust over the whole land of Egypt, and festering boils^(A) will break out on people and animals throughout the land.”

² The first angel went and poured out his bowl on the land,^(A) and ugly, festering sores^(B) broke out on the people who had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image.^(C)

²⁷ The Lord will afflict you with the boils of Egypt^(A) and with tumors, festering sores and the itch, from which you cannot be cured.

⁷ So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord and afflicted Job with painful sores from the soles of his feet to the crown of his head.^(A)

³⁵ The Lord will afflict your knees and legs with painful boils^(A) that cannot be cured, spreading from the soles of your feet to the top of your head.^(B)

¹⁸ “When someone has a boil^(A) on their skin and it heals, ¹⁹ and in the place where the boil was, a white swelling or reddish-white^(B) spot^(C) appears, they must present themselves to the priest. ²⁰ The priest is to examine it, and if it appears to be more than skin deep and the hair in it has turned white, the priest shall pronounce that person unclean. It is a defiling skin disease^(D) that has broken out where the boil was.
