³³ So Moses went out of the city from Pharaoh and ^(A)spread out his hands to the Lord; then the thunder and the hail ceased, and the rain was not poured on the earth.

²⁹ So Moses said to him, “As soon as I have gone out of the city, I will ^(A)spread out my hands to the Lord; the thunder will cease, and there will be no more hail, that you may know that the ^(B)earth is the Lord’s.

¹² Then Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh. And Moses ^(A)cried out to the Lord concerning the frogs which He had brought against Pharaoh.

¹⁷ Elijah was a man ^(A)with a nature like ours, and ^(B)he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. ¹⁸ And he prayed ^(C)again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.

¹⁸ So he ^(A)went out from Pharaoh and entreated the Lord. ¹⁹ And the Lord turned a very strong west wind, which took the locusts away and blew them ^(B)into the Red Sea. There remained not one locust in all the territory of Egypt.
