^10 (A)If favor is shown to the wicked,
    he does not learn righteousness;
in the land of uprightness he deals corruptly
    and does not see the majesty of the Lord.

¹⁷ O Lord, why do you make us wander from your ways
    and ^(A)harden our heart, so that we fear you not?
^(B)Return for the sake of your servants,
    the tribes of your heritage.

⁶ By ^(A)steadfast love and faithfulness iniquity is atoned for,
    and by ^(B)the fear of the Lord one ^(C)turns away from evil.
