²⁰ He who ^(A)feared the word of the Lord among the ^(B)servants of Pharaoh made his servants and his livestock flee to the houses.

⁷ By faith ^(A)Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, ^(B)prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of ^(C)the righteousness which is according to faith.

The Great Tribulation^(A)

^14 (B)“So when you see the ^(C)‘abomination of desolation,’ ^[a]spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not” (let the reader understand), “then ^(D)let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. ¹⁵ Let him who is on the housetop not go down into the house, nor enter to take anything out of his house. ¹⁶ And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes.

The People of Nineveh Believe

⁵ So the ^(A)people of Nineveh believed God, proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest to the least of them. ⁶ Then word came to the king of Nineveh; and he arose from his throne and laid aside his robe, covered himself with sackcloth ^(B)and sat in ashes.
