²⁸ So Pharaoh said, “I will let you go, that you may sacrifice to the Lord your God in the wilderness; only you shall not go very far away. ^(A)Intercede for me.”

⁸ Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, ^(A)“Entreat^[a] the Lord that He may take away the frogs from me and from my people; and I will let the people ^(B)go, that they may sacrifice to the Lord.”

⁶ Then the king answered and said to the man of God, “Please ^(A)entreat the favor of the Lord your God, and pray for me, that my hand may be restored to me.”

So the man of God entreated the Lord, and the king’s hand was restored to him, and became as before.

^28 (A)Entreat^[a] the Lord, that there may be no more ^[b]mighty thundering and hail, for it is enough. I will let you ^(B)go, and you shall stay no longer.”

²⁹ Then Moses said, “Indeed I am going out from you, and I will entreat the Lord, that the swarms of flies may depart tomorrow from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people. But let Pharaoh not ^(A)deal deceitfully anymore in not letting the people go to sacrifice to the Lord.”

²⁴ Then Simon answered and said, ^(A)“Pray to the Lord for me, that none of the things which you have spoken may come upon me.”

¹⁷ Now therefore, please forgive my sin only this once, and ^(A)entreat^[a] the Lord your God, that He may take away from me this death only.”
