¹⁹ Then the magicians said to Pharaoh, “This is ^(A)the^[a] finger of God.” But Pharaoh’s ^(B)heart grew hard, and he did not heed them, just as the Lord had said.

²⁰ But if I cast out demons ^(A)with the finger of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you.

⁵ And the Egyptians ^(A)shall know that I am the Lord, when I ^(B)stretch out My hand on Egypt and ^(C)bring out the children of Israel from among them.”

²⁸ But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, ^(A)surely the kingdom of God has come upon you.

¹⁶ saying, ^(A)“What shall we do to these men? For, indeed, that a ^[a]notable miracle has been done through them is ^(B)evident^[b] to all who dwell in Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it.

^47 (A)Then the chief priests and the Pharisees gathered a council and said, ^(B)“What shall we do? For this Man works many signs.

¹⁹ Then the secret was revealed to Daniel ^(A)in a night vision. So Daniel blessed the God of heaven.

¹⁰ The Chaldeans answered the king, and said, “There is not a man on earth who can tell the king’s matter; therefore no king, lord, or ruler has ever asked such things of any magician, astrologer, or Chaldean. ¹¹ It is a ^[a]difficult thing that the king requests, and there is no other who can tell it to the king ^(A)except the gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh.”

⁹ And watch: if it goes up the road to its own territory, to ^(A)Beth Shemesh, then He has done ^[a]us this great evil. But if not, then ^(B)we shall know that it is not His hand that struck us—it happened to us by chance.”
