⁷ Moses was eighty years old and Aaron eighty-three when they spoke to Pharaoh.^(A)

³⁰ “Now when forty years had passed, an angel appeared to him in the wilderness of Mount Sinai, in the flame of a burning bush.

²³ “When he was forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his kinfolk, the Israelites.^(A)

⁷ Moses was one hundred twenty years old when he died; his sight was unimpaired, and his vigor had not abated.^(A)

² he said to them, “I am now one hundred twenty years old. I am no longer able to get about, and the Lord has told me, ‘You shall not cross over this Jordan.’^(A)

⁵ I have led you forty years in the wilderness. The clothes on your back have not worn out, and the sandals on your feet have not worn out;^(A)

²³ After a long time the king of Egypt died. The Israelites groaned under their slavery and cried out. Their cry for help rose up to God from their slavery.^(A)
