²⁴ And all the Egyptians dug along the Nile for water to drink, for they could not drink the water of the Nile.

²¹ And the fish in the Nile died, and the Nile stank, so that the Egyptians ^(A)could not drink water from the Nile. There was blood throughout all the land of Egypt.

⁵ And the people ^(A)spoke against God and against Moses, ^(B)“Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water, and ^(C)we loathe this worthless food.”

²⁰ but a whole month, ^(A)until it comes out at your nostrils and becomes loathsome to you, because you have rejected the Lord who is among you and have wept before him, saying, ^(B)“Why did we come out of Egypt?”’”
