¹¹ But Pharaoh also ^(A)called the wise men and ^(B)the ^[a]sorcerers; so the magicians of Egypt, they also ^(C)did in like manner with their ^[b]enchantments.

^22 (A)Then the magicians of Egypt did ^(B)so with their ^[a]enchantments; and Pharaoh’s heart grew hard, and he did not heed them, ^(C)as the Lord had said.

^8 (A)Now as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so do these also resist the truth: ^(B)men of corrupt minds, ^(C)disapproved concerning the faith;

¹⁸ Now ^(A)the magicians so worked with their ^[a]enchantments to bring forth lice, but they ^(B)could not. So there were lice on man and beast.

^7 (A)And the magicians did so with their ^[a]enchantments, and brought up frogs on the land of Egypt.

⁸ Now it came to pass in the morning ^(A)that his spirit was troubled, and he sent and called for all ^(B)the magicians of Egypt and all its ^(C)wise men. And Pharaoh told them his dreams, but there was no one who could interpret them for Pharaoh.

^2 (A)Then the king gave the command to call the magicians, the astrologers, the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans to tell the king his dreams. So they came and stood before the king.

⁹ The coming of the lawless one is ^(A)according to the working of Satan, with all power, ^(B)signs, and lying wonders,

¹⁴ that we should no longer be ^(A)children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of ^(B)deceitful plotting,
