16 Now Korah son of Izhar son of Kohath son of Levi, along with Dathan and Abiram sons of Eliab, and On son of Peleth son^[a] of Reuben, took^(A)

¹⁰ and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up along with Korah, when that congregation died, when the fire devoured two hundred fifty men, and they became a warning.^{(A) 11} Notwithstanding, the sons of Korah did not die.^(B)
