¹⁷ He said, “You are lazy, lazy; that is why you say, ‘Let us go and sacrifice to the Lord.’^(A)

¹⁰ For even when we were with you, we gave you this command: anyone unwilling to work should not eat. ¹¹ For we hear that some of you are living irresponsibly, mere busybodies, not doing any work.^(A)

²⁷ Do not work for the food that perishes but for the food that endures for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For it is on him that God the Father has set his seal.”^(A)

⁸ But when the disciples saw it, they were angry and said, “Why this waste?

⁸ But you shall require of them the same quantity of bricks as they have made previously; do not diminish it, for they are lazy; that is why they cry, ‘Let us go and sacrifice to our God.’^(A)
