^33 (A)And he erected the court around the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the screen of the gate of the court. So ^(B)Moses finished the work.

⁸ And you shall set up the court all around, and hang up the screen for the gate of the court.

The Court of the Tabernacle

^9 (A)“You shall make the court of the tabernacle. On the south side the court shall have hangings of fine twined linen a hundred cubits long for one side. ¹⁰ Its twenty pillars and their twenty bases shall be of bronze, but the hooks of the pillars and their fillets shall be of silver. ¹¹ And likewise for its length on the north side there shall be hangings a hundred cubits long, its pillars twenty and their bases twenty, of bronze, but the hooks of the pillars and their fillets shall be of silver. ¹² And for the breadth of the court on the west side there shall be hangings for fifty cubits, with ten pillars and ten bases. ¹³ The breadth of the court on the front to the east shall be fifty cubits. ¹⁴ The hangings for the one side of the gate shall be fifteen cubits, with their three pillars and three bases. ¹⁵ On the other side the hangings shall be fifteen cubits, with their three pillars and three bases. ¹⁶ For the gate of the court there shall be ^(B)a screen twenty cubits long, of blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen, embroidered with needlework. It shall have four pillars and with them four bases.

⁶ These preparations having thus been made, ^(A)the priests go regularly into the first section, performing their ritual duties, ⁷ but into the second only ^(B)the high priest goes, and he but ^(C)once a year, and not without taking blood, ^(D)which he offers for himself and for the unintentional sins of the people.

Jesus the Great High Priest

¹⁴ Since then we have ^(A)a great high priest ^(B)who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, ^(C)let us hold fast our confession. ¹⁵ For we do not have a high priest ^(D)who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been ^(E)tempted as we are, ^(F)yet without sin. ^16 (G)Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

² who was faithful to him who appointed him, ^(A)just as Moses also was faithful in all God's^[a] house. ³ For Jesus has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses—as much more glory as the builder of a house has more honor than the house itself. ⁴ (For every house is built by someone, but ^(B)the builder of all things is God.) ^5 (C)Now Moses was faithful in all God's house ^(D)as a servant, ^(E)to testify to the things that were to be spoken later,

^7 (A)I have fought the good fight, ^(B)I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

¹¹ And ^(A)he gave the ^(B)apostles, the prophets, the ^(C)evangelists, the ^(D)shepherds^[a] and teachers,^{[b] 12 (E)}to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for ^(F)building up ^(G)the body of Christ, ¹³ until we all attain to ^(H)the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, ^(I)to mature manhood,^[c] to the measure of the stature of ^(J)the fullness of Christ,

¹⁸ For ^(A)through him we both have ^(B)access in ^(C)one Spirit to the Father.
