² “On the first day of the first month you shall set up the tabernacle of the tent of meeting.^(A)

³⁰ Then you shall erect the tabernacle according to the plan for it that you were shown on the mountain.^(A)

7 On the day when Moses had finished setting up the tabernacle and had anointed and consecrated it with all its furnishings and had anointed and consecrated the altar with all its utensils,^(A)

The First Census of Israel

1 The Lord spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tent of meeting, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying,^(A)

¹⁷ In the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, the tabernacle was set up. ¹⁸ Moses set up the tabernacle; he laid its bases and set up its frames and put in its poles and raised up its pillars, ¹⁹ and he spread the tent over the tabernacle and put the covering of the tent over it as the Lord had commanded Moses.

The First Passover Instituted

12 The Lord said to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, ² “This month shall mark for you the beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year for you.^(A)

⁶ You shall set the altar of burnt offering before the entrance of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting

¹⁸ He made fifty clasps of bronze to join the tent together so that it might be one whole.
