³¹ So the people ^(A)believed; and when they heard that the Lord had ^(B)visited the children of Israel and that He ^(C)had looked on their affliction, then ^(D)they bowed their heads and worshiped.

¹⁸ Then ^(A)they will heed your voice; and ^(B)you shall come, you and the elders of Israel, to the king of Egypt; and you shall say to him, ‘The Lord God of the Hebrews has ^(C)met with us; and now, please, let us go three days’ journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the Lord our God.’

¹³ But the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who believe for a while and in time of ^[a]temptation fall away.

²⁷ that you shall say, ^(A)‘It is the Passover sacrifice of the Lord, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt when He struck the Egyptians and delivered our households.’ ” So the people ^(B)bowed their heads and worshiped.

¹⁶ Go and ^(A)gather the elders of Israel together, and say to them, ‘The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared to me, saying, ^(B)“I have surely visited you and seen what is done to you in Egypt;

²⁵ And God ^(A)looked upon the children of Israel, and God ^(B)acknowledged them.

²⁶ Then the man ^(A)bowed down his head and worshiped the Lord.

²⁰ Then David said to all the assembly, “Now bless the Lord your God.” So all the assembly blessed the Lord God of their fathers, and bowed their heads and prostrated themselves before the Lord and the king.

⁸ “Then it will be, if they do not believe you, nor heed the message of the ^(A)first sign, that they may believe the message of the latter sign. ⁹ And it shall be, if they do not believe even these two signs, or listen to your voice, that you shall take water from ^[a]the river and pour it on the dry land. ^(B)The water which you take from the river will become blood on the dry land.”
