²⁵ Then ^(A)Zipporah took ^(B)a sharp stone and cut off the foreskin of her son and ^[a]cast it at ^[b]Moses’ feet, and said, “Surely you are a husband of blood to me!”

² At that time the Lord said to Joshua, “Make ^(A)flint knives for yourself, and circumcise the sons of Israel again the second time.” ³ So Joshua made flint knives for himself, and circumcised the sons of Israel at ^[a]the hill of the foreskins.

⁷ Also Shimei said thus when he cursed: “Come out! Come out! You ^[a]bloodthirsty man, ^(A)you ^[b]rogue!

¹⁴ And the uncircumcised male child, who is not circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin, that person ^(A)shall be cut off from his people; he has broken My covenant.”
