¹² Now go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you are to speak.”^(A)

¹¹ When they bring you before the synagogues, the rulers, and the authorities, do not worry about how or what^[a] you will answer or what you are to say,^{(A) 12} for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that very hour what you ought to say.”

⁹ Then the Lord put out his hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me,

¹⁹ When they hand you over, do not worry about how you are to speak or what you are to say, for what you are to say will be given to you at that time, ²⁰ for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.^(A)

¹⁴ So make up your minds not to prepare your defense in advance,^{(A) 15} for I will give you words^[a] and a wisdom that none of your opponents will be able to withstand or contradict.^(B)

¹¹ When they bring you to trial and hand you over, do not worry beforehand about what you are to say, but say whatever is given you at that time, for it is not you who speak but the Holy Spirit.^(A)

The Servant’s Humiliation and Vindication

¹⁹ Pray also for me, so that when I speak a message may be given to me to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel,^[a](A)

²⁶ But the Advocate,^[a] the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything and remind you of all that I have said to you.^(A)

The Lord’s Prayer

11 He was praying in a certain place, and after he had finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, as John taught his disciples.”^(A)
