The Table^(A)

¹⁰ They^[a] made the table^(B) of acacia wood—two cubits long, a cubit wide and a cubit and a half high.^[b]

²⁷ To them God has chosen to make known^(A) among the Gentiles the glorious riches^(B) of this mystery, which is Christ in you,^(C) the hope of glory.

¹⁶ Out of his fullness^(A) we have all received grace^(B) in place of grace already given.

¹⁴ The Word became flesh^(A) and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory,^(B) the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace^(C) and truth.^(D)

¹² “But you profane it by saying, ‘The Lord’s table^(A) is defiled,’ and, ‘Its food^(B) is contemptible.’

³⁹ In the portico of the gateway were two tables on each side, on which the burnt offerings,^(A) sin offerings^[a](B) and guilt offerings^(C) were slaughtered.^{(D) 40} By the outside wall of the portico of the gateway, near the steps at the entrance of the north gateway were two tables, and on the other side of the steps were two tables. ⁴¹ So there were four tables on one side of the gateway and four on the other—eight tables in all—on which the sacrifices were slaughtered. ⁴² There were also four tables of dressed stone^(E) for the burnt offerings, each a cubit and a half long, a cubit and a half wide and a cubit high.^[b] On them were placed the utensils for slaughtering the burnt offerings and the other sacrifices.^(F)

²² Moses placed the table^(A) in the tent of meeting on the north side of the tabernacle outside the curtain ²³ and set out the bread^(B) on it before the Lord, as the Lord commanded^(C) him.

⁴ Bring in the table^(A) and set out what belongs on it.^(B) Then bring in the lampstand^(C) and set up its lamps.
