⁵ Now the Lord descended in the ^(A)cloud and stood with him there, and ^(B)proclaimed the name of the Lord.

¹⁹ Then He said, “I will make all My ^(A)goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before you. ^(B)I will be gracious to whom I will be ^(C)gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.”

³⁴ While he was saying this, a cloud came and overshadowed them; and they were fearful as they entered the ^(A)cloud. ³⁵ And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, ^(B)“This is ^[a]My beloved Son. ^(C)Hear Him!”

²⁵ Then the Lord came down in the cloud, and spoke to him, and took of the Spirit that was upon him, and placed the same upon the seventy elders; and it happened, ^(A)when the Spirit rested upon them, that ^(B)they prophesied, ^[a]although they never did so again.

⁹ And it came to pass, when Moses entered the tabernacle, that the pillar of cloud descended and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the Lord ^(A)talked with Moses.

¹⁷ Then I will come down and talk with you there. ^(A)I will take of the Spirit that is upon you and will put the same upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with you, that you may not bear it yourself alone.
