¹¹ Obey what I command^(A) you today. I will drive out before you the Amorites, Canaanites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites.^(B)

² I will send an angel^(A) before you and drive out the Canaanites, Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites.^(B)

¹⁷ And I have promised to bring you up out of your misery in Egypt^(A) into the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites—a land flowing with milk and honey.’^(B)

²⁵ And if we are careful to obey all this law^(A) before the Lord our God, as he has commanded us, that will be our righteousness.^(B)”

Driving Out the Nations

7 When the Lord your God brings you into the land you are entering to possess^(C) and drives out before you many nations^(D)—the Hittites,^(E) Girgashites,^(F) Amorites,^(G) Canaanites, Perizzites,^(H) Hivites^(I) and Jebusites,^(J) seven nations larger and stronger than you—

³ Hear, Israel, and be careful to obey^(A) so that it may go well with you and that you may increase greatly^(B) in a land flowing with milk and honey,^(C) just as the Lord, the God of your ancestors, promised^(D) you.

⁸ So I have come down^(A) to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land,^(B) a land flowing with milk and honey^(C)—the home of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites^(D) and Jebusites.^(E)

¹⁸ On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram^(A) and said, “To your descendants I give this land,^(B) from the Wadi^[a] of Egypt^(C) to the great river, the Euphrates^(D)— ¹⁹ the land of the Kenites,^(E) Kenizzites, Kadmonites, ²⁰ Hittites,^(F) Perizzites,^(G) Rephaites,^{(H) 21} Amorites, Canaanites, Girgashites and Jebusites.”^(I)

²¹ Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me.^(A) The one who loves me will be loved by my Father,^(B) and I too will love them and show myself to them.”

²⁰ and teaching^(A) them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you^(B) always, to the very end of the age.”^(C)
