²⁶ then Moses stood in the gate of the camp and said, “Who is on the Lord’s side? Come to me!” And all the sons of Levi gathered around him.

³⁰ Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.^(A)

³² He looked up to the window and said, “Who is on my side? Who?” Two or three eunuchs looked out at him.

Joshua’s Vision

¹³ Once when Joshua was by Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing before him with a drawn sword in his hand. Joshua went to him and said to him, “Are you one of us or one of our adversaries?”^(A)

¹¹ And one of Joab’s men took his stand by Amasa and said, “Whoever favors Joab, and whoever is for David, let him follow Joab.”
