¹⁶ Therefore the Israelites shall keep the Sabbath, observing the Sabbath throughout their generations, as a perpetual covenant.

⁵ They shall ask the way to Zion, with faces turned toward it, and they shall come and join themselves to the Lord by an everlasting covenant that will never be forgotten.

¹¹ You shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskins, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and you.^(A)

¹³ I have set my bow in the clouds, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth.^(A)
