^33 (A)Whoever ^[a]compounds any like it, or whoever puts any of it on an outsider, ^(B)shall be ^[b]cut off from his people.’ ”

^38 (A)Whoever makes any like it, to smell it, he shall be cut off from his people.”

¹⁴ And the uncircumcised male child, who is not circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin, that person ^(A)shall be cut off from his people; he has broken My covenant.”

^15 (A)Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. On the first day you shall remove leaven from your houses. For whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, ^(B)that ^[a]person shall be ^[b]cut off from Israel.

The Just Live by Faith

²⁶ For ^(A)if we sin willfully ^(B)after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there ^(C)no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, ²⁷ but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and ^(D)fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. ²⁸ Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three ^(E)witnesses. ^29 (F)Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, ^(G)counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, ^(H)and insulted the Spirit of grace?

Beware of Hypocrisy^(A)

12 In ^(B)the meantime, when an innumerable multitude of people had gathered together, so that they trampled one another, He began to say to His disciples first of all, ^(C)“Beware of the ^[a]leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. ^2 (D)For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known.

¹³ But the man who is clean and is not on a journey, and ceases to keep the Passover, that same person ^(A)shall be cut off from among his people, because he ^(B)did not bring the offering of the Lord at its appointed time; that man shall ^(C)bear his sin.

²⁹ For any person who is not ^(A)afflicted in soul on that same day ^(B)shall be cut off from his people.

⁸ Therefore everyone who eats it shall bear his iniquity, because he has profaned the hallowed offering of the Lord; and that person shall be cut off from his people.
