¹⁶ You shall take the atonement money from the people of Israel and shall ^(A)give it for the service of the tent of meeting, that it may bring the people of Israel to ^(B)remembrance before the Lord, so as to make atonement for your lives.”

³² “We also take on ourselves the obligation to give yearly ^(A)a third part of a shekel^[a] for the service of the house of our God: ^33 (B)for the showbread, ^(C)the regular grain offering, ^(D)the regular burnt offering, the Sabbaths, the new moons, the appointed feasts, the holy things, and the sin offerings to make atonement for Israel, and for all the work of the house of our God.

⁴⁰ to be a reminder to the people of Israel, so ^(A)that no outsider, who is not of the descendants of Aaron, should draw near to burn incense before the Lord, lest he become like Korah and his company—as the Lord said to him through Moses.

²⁵ The silver from those of the congregation who were recorded was a hundred talents and 1,775 shekels, by the shekel of the sanctuary: ²⁶ a ^(A)beka^[a] a head (that is, half a shekel, by the shekel of the sanctuary), for everyone who was listed in the records, from twenty years old and upward, for ^(B)603,550 men. ²⁷ The hundred talents of silver were for casting the ^(C)bases of the sanctuary and the bases of the veil; a hundred bases for the hundred talents, a talent a base. ²⁸ And of the 1,775 shekels he made hooks for the pillars and overlaid their capitals and made fillets for them. ²⁹ The bronze that was offered was seventy talents and 2,400 shekels; ³⁰ with it he made the ^(D)bases for the entrance of the tent of meeting, ^(E)the bronze altar and the bronze grating for it and all the utensils of the altar, ³¹ the ^(F)bases around the court, and the ^(G)bases of the gate of the court, all the ^(H)pegs of the tabernacle, and all the pegs around the court.

¹⁴ “This day shall be ^(A)for you a memorial day, and you shall keep it as a feast to the Lord; throughout your generations, as a ^(B)statute forever, you shall keep it as a feast.

^19 (A)And he took bread, and ^(B)when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, ^(C)“This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”
