⁴¹ And the other lamb you shall ^(A)offer ^[a]at twilight; and you shall offer with it the grain offering and the drink offering, as in the morning, for a sweet aroma, an offering made by fire to the Lord.

^13 (A)“You shall daily make a burnt offering to the Lord of a lamb of the first year without blemish; you shall prepare it ^[a]every morning. ¹⁴ And you shall prepare a grain offering with it every morning, a sixth of an ephah, and a third of a hin of oil to moisten the fine flour. This grain offering is a perpetual ordinance, to be made regularly to the Lord. ¹⁵ Thus they shall prepare the lamb, the grain offering, and the oil, as a ^(B)regular burnt offering every morning.”

²¹ yes, while I was speaking in prayer, the man ^(A)Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, ^[a]being caused to fly swiftly, reached me about the time of the evening offering.

⁴ Then everyone who ^(A)trembled at the words of the God of Israel assembled to me, because of the transgression of those who had been carried away captive, and I sat astonished until the ^(B)evening sacrifice.

⁵ At the evening sacrifice I arose from my fasting; and having torn my garment and my robe, I fell on my knees and ^(C)spread out my hands to the Lord my God.

¹⁵ Then King Ahaz commanded Urijah the priest, saying, “On the great new altar burn ^(A)the morning burnt offering, the evening grain offering, the king’s burnt sacrifice, and his grain offering, with the burnt offering of all the people of the land, their grain offering, and their drink offerings; and sprinkle on it all the blood of the burnt offering and all the blood of the sacrifice. And the bronze altar shall be for me to inquire by.”

³⁶ And it came to pass, at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near and said, “Lord ^(A)God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, ^(B)let it be known this day that You are God in Israel and I am Your servant, and that ^(C)I have done all these things at Your word.

²⁹ And when midday was past, ^(A)they prophesied until the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice. But there was ^(B)no voice; no one answered, no one paid attention.
