³⁷ You shall fasten it on the turban with a blue cord; it shall be on the front of the turban.

⁵ And he said,^[a] “Let them put a clean turban on his head.” So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him with apparel, and the angel of the Lord was standing by.^(A)

³⁸ “Speak to the Israelites, and tell them to make fringes on the corners of their garments throughout their generations and to put a blue cord on the fringe at each corner.^(A)

⁹ And he set the turban on his head, and on the turban, in front, he set the golden ornament, the holy diadem, as the Lord had commanded Moses.^(A)

³⁰ They made the rosette of the holy diadem of pure gold and wrote on it an inscription, like the engraving of a signet, “Holy to the Lord.”^{(A) 31} They tied to it a blue cord, to fasten it on the turban above, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

⁶ and you shall set the turban on his head and put the holy diadem on the turban.^(A)

Other Priestly Vestments

³¹ “You shall make the robe of the ephod all of blue.^(A)

²⁸ The breastpiece shall be bound by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a blue cord, so that it may lie on the decorated band of the ephod and so that the breastpiece shall not come loose from the ephod.

⁴ These are the vestments that they shall make: a breastpiece, an ephod, a robe, a checkered tunic, a turban, and a sash. When they make these sacred vestments for your brother Aaron and his sons to serve me as priests,^(A)
