⁸ “Then have them make a sanctuary^(A) for me, and I will dwell^(B) among them.

¹⁶ What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols?^(A) For we are the temple^(B) of the living God.^(C) As God has said:

¹³ And I will live among the Israelites and will not abandon^(A) my people Israel.”

³ And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them.^(A) They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.^(B)

⁴⁵ Then I will dwell^(A) among the Israelites and be their God.^(B)

Worship in the Earthly Tabernacle

9 Now the first covenant had regulations for worship and also an earthly sanctuary.^{(A) 2} A tabernacle^(B) was set up. In its first room were the lampstand^(C) and the table^(D) with its consecrated bread;^(E) this was called the Holy Place.^(F)

¹⁰ “Shout^(A) and be glad, Daughter Zion.^(B) For I am coming,^(C) and I will live among you,”^(D) declares the Lord.^(E)

⁶ But Christ is faithful as the Son^(A) over God’s house. And we are his house,^(B) if indeed we hold firmly^(C) to our confidence and the hope^(D) in which we glory.

³ This is what the Lord says: “I will return^(A) to Zion^(B) and dwell in Jerusalem.^(C) Then Jerusalem will be called the Faithful City,^(D) and the mountain^(E) of the Lord Almighty will be called the Holy Mountain.^(F)”
