²⁴ You shall not ^(A)bow down to their gods, nor serve them, ^(B)nor do according to their works; ^(C)but you shall utterly overthrow them and completely break down their sacred pillars.

^52 (A)then you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, destroy all their engraved stones, destroy all their molded images, and demolish all their ^[a]high places;

³⁰ take heed to yourself that you are not ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed from before you, and that you do not inquire after their gods, saying, ‘How did these nations serve their gods? I also will do likewise.’ ^31 (A)You shall not worship the Lord your God in that way; for every ^[a]abomination to the Lord which He hates they have done to their gods; for ^(B)they burn even their sons and daughters in the fire to their gods.

³ And ^(A)you shall destroy their altars, break their sacred pillars, and burn their ^[a]wooden images with fire; you shall cut down the carved images of their gods and destroy their names from that place.

⁵ But thus you shall deal with them: you shall ^(A)destroy their altars, and break down their sacred pillars, and cut down their ^[a]wooden images, and burn their carved images with fire.

⁹ So Manasseh seduced Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to do more evil than the nations whom the Lord had destroyed before the children of Israel.

^3 (A)According to ^[a]the doings of the land of Egypt, where you dwelt, you shall not do; and ^(B)according to the doings of the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you, you shall not do; nor shall you walk in their ^[b]ordinances.

⁴⁷ You did not walk in their ways nor act according to their abominations; but, as if that were too little, ^(A)you became more corrupt than they in all your ways.
