²⁴ An altar of ^(A)earth you shall make for Me, and you shall sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and your peace offerings, ^(B)your sheep and your oxen. In every ^(C)place where I ^[a]record My name I will come to you, and I will ^(D)bless you.

⁵ “But you shall seek the ^(A)place where the Lord your God chooses, out of all your tribes, to put His name for His ^(B)dwelling^[a] place; and there you shall go.

^6 (A)Yet I have chosen Jerusalem, that My name may be there, and I ^(B)have chosen David to be over My people Israel.’

³ And the Lord said to him: ^(A)“I have heard your prayer and your supplication that you have made before Me; I have consecrated this house which you have built ^(B)to put My name there forever, ^(C)and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually.

¹⁶ For now ^(A)I have chosen and ^[a]sanctified this house, that My name may be there forever; and ^[b]My eyes and ^[c]My heart will be there perpetually.

^11 (A)You shall rejoice before the Lord your God, you and your son and your daughter, your male servant and your female servant, the Levite who is within your gates, the stranger and the fatherless and the widow who are among you, at the place where the Lord your God chooses to make His name abide.

¹¹ then there will be the place where the Lord your God chooses to make His name abide. There you shall bring all that I command you: your burnt offerings, your sacrifices, your tithes, the heave offerings of your hand, and all your choice offerings which you vow to the Lord.

^2 (A)that you shall take some of the first of all the produce of the ground, which you shall bring from your land that the Lord your God is giving you, and put it in a basket and ^(B)go to the place where the Lord your God chooses to make His name abide.
