¹⁶ Then it came to pass on the third day, in the morning, that there were ^(A)thunderings and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain; and the sound of the trumpet was very loud, so that all the people who were in the camp ^(B)trembled.

The Glorious Company

¹⁸ For you have not come ^[a]to ^(A)the mountain that may be touched and that burned with fire, and to blackness and ^[b]darkness and tempest, ¹⁹ and the sound of a trumpet and the voice of words, so that those who heard it ^(B)begged that the word should not be spoken to them anymore.

The Throne Room of Heaven^(A)

4 After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing ^(B)open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a ^(C)trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.”

²¹ And so terrifying was the sight that Moses said, ^(A)“I am exceedingly afraid and trembling.”)

¹⁹ Then ^(A)the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of ^[a]His covenant was seen in His temple. And ^(B)there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake, ^(C)and great hail.

⁵ Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth. And ^(A)there were noises, thunderings, ^(B)lightnings, ^(C)and an earthquake.

⁵ And from the throne proceeded ^(A)lightnings, ^[a]thunderings, and voices. ^(B)Seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are ^(C)the^[b] seven Spirits of God.
