¹² But Moses’s hands grew heavy, so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held up his hands, one on either side, so his hands were steady until the sun set.

¹⁹ for I know that through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will turn out for my salvation.^(A)

¹² Therefore lift your drooping hands and strengthen your weak knees^(A)

²⁵ Brothers and sisters, pray for us.^(A)

¹⁸ Pray in the Spirit at all times in every prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert and always persevere in supplication for all the saints.^(A)

¹¹ as you also join in helping us by your prayers, so that many may give thanks on our^[a] behalf for the blessing granted us through the prayers of many.^(A)

³⁷ He came and found them sleeping, and he said to Peter, “Simon, are you asleep? Could you not keep awake one hour? ³⁸ Keep awake and pray that you may not come into the time of trial;^[a] the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”^{(A) 39} And again he went away and prayed, saying the same words. ⁴⁰ And once more he came and found them sleeping, for their eyes were very heavy, and they did not know what to say to him.

⁶ But ask in faith, never doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.^(A)
