²⁶ Then the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand over the sea, that the waters may come back upon the Egyptians, on their chariots, and on their horsemen.”

¹⁶ But ^(A)lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it. And the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.

⁵ Then the Lord spoke to Moses, “Say to Aaron, ^(A)‘Stretch out your hand with your rod over the streams, over the rivers, and over the ponds, and cause frogs to come up on the land of Egypt.’ ”

¹³ For ^(A)judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown ^(B)no ^(C)mercy. ^(D)Mercy triumphs over judgment.

²⁷ So the men marveled, saying, ^[a]“Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?”

² For with what ^[a]judgment you judge, you will be judged; ^(A)and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.

⁶ Then Adoni-Bezek fled, and they pursued him and caught him and cut off his thumbs and big toes. ⁷ And Adoni-Bezek said, “Seventy kings with their thumbs and big toes cut off used to gather scraps under my table; ^(A)as I have done, so God has repaid me.” Then they brought him to Jerusalem, and there he died.

¹⁹ Then the Lord spoke to Moses, “Say to Aaron, ‘Take your rod and ^(A)stretch out your hand over the waters of Egypt, over their streams, over their rivers, over their ponds, and over all their pools of water, that they may become blood. And there shall be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in buckets of wood and pitchers of stone.’ ”

²² So Pharaoh commanded all his people, saying, ^(A)“Every son who is ^[a]born you shall cast into the river, and every daughter you shall save alive.”
