³¹ Then he ^(A)called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, “Rise, go out from among my people, ^(B)both you and the children of Israel. And go, serve the Lord as you have ^(C)said.

God Renews His Promise to Israel

6 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh. For ^(A)with a strong hand he will let them go, and with a strong hand ^(B)he will drive them out of his land.”

⁹ And Moses said, “We will go with our young and our old; with our sons and our daughters, with our flocks and our herds we will go, for ^(A)we must hold a feast to the Lord.”

⁸ Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, ^(A)“Entreat^[a] the Lord that He may take away the frogs from me and from my people; and I will let the people ^(B)go, that they may sacrifice to the Lord.”

¹⁹ But I am sure that the king of Egypt ^(A)will not let you go, no, not even by a mighty hand. ²⁰ So I will ^(B)stretch out My hand and strike Egypt with ^(C)all My wonders which I will do in its midst; and ^(D)after that he will let you go.

⁸ And ^(A)all these your servants shall come down to me and bow down to me, saying, ‘Get out, and all the people who follow you!’ After that I will go out.” ^(B)Then he went out from Pharaoh in great anger.

²⁹ So Moses said, “You have spoken well. ^(A)I will never see your face again.”

Death of the Firstborn Announced^(B)

11 And the Lord said to Moses, “I will bring one more plague on Pharaoh and on Egypt. ^(C)Afterward he will let you go from here. ^(D)When he lets you go, he will surely drive you out of here altogether.
