²⁵ It will come to pass when you come to the land which the Lord will give you, ^(A)just as He promised, that you shall keep this service.

¹⁷ and I have said ^(A)I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt to the land of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites, to a land flowing with milk and honey.” ’

⁸ So ^(A)I have come down to ^(B)deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land ^(C)to a good and large land, to a land ^(D)flowing with milk and honey, to the place of ^(E)the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites.

⁸ “You shall not at all do as we are doing here today—^(A)every man doing whatever is right in his own eyes— ⁹ for as yet you have not come to the ^(B)rest^[a] and the inheritance which the Lord your God is giving you.

¹⁰ Now the children of Israel camped in Gilgal, and kept the Passover ^(A)on the fourteenth day of the month at twilight on the plains of Jericho. ¹¹ And they ate of the produce of the land on the day after the Passover, unleavened bread and ^[a]parched grain, on the very same day. ¹² Then ^(B)the manna ceased on the day after they had eaten the produce of the land; and the children of Israel no longer had manna, but they ate the food of the land of Canaan that year.

⁵ “You may not sacrifice the Passover within any of your gates which the Lord your God gives you; ⁶ but at the place where the Lord your God chooses to make His name abide, there you shall sacrifice the Passover ^(A)at twilight, at the going down of the sun, at the time you came out of Egypt. ⁷ And you shall roast and eat it ^(B)in the place which the Lord your God chooses, and in the morning you shall turn and go to your tents. ⁸ Six days you shall eat unleavened bread, and ^(C)on the seventh day there shall be a ^[a]sacred assembly to the Lord your God.
