^22 (A)And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and ^(B)strike the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the basin. And none of you shall go out of the door of his house until morning.

²⁸ By faith ^(A)he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, lest he who destroyed the firstborn should touch them.

¹⁸ A clean person shall take ^(A)hyssop and dip it in the water, sprinkle it on the tent, on all the vessels, on the persons who were there, or on the one who touched a bone, the slain, the dead, or a grave.

¹⁹ For when Moses had spoken every ^[a]precept to all the people according to the law, ^(A)he took the blood of calves and goats, ^(B)with water, scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people,

The Earthly Sanctuary^(A)

9 Then indeed, even the first covenant had ordinances of divine service and ^(B)the earthly sanctuary.

⁷ And they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses where they eat it.

¹⁴ how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without ^[a]spot to God, ^(A)cleanse your conscience from ^(B)dead works ^(C)to serve the living God?

^2 (A)elect ^(B)according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, ^(C)in sanctification of the Spirit, for ^(D)obedience and ^(E)sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ:

^(F)Grace to you and peace be multiplied.

²⁴ to Jesus ^(A)the Mediator of the new covenant, and to ^(B)the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things ^(C)than that of Abel.
