³ The Lord gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover, Moses himself was a man of great importance in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh’s officials and in the sight of the people.^(A)

³⁶ and the Lord had given the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they let them have what they asked. And so they plundered the Egyptians.^(A)

²¹ I will bring this people into such favor with the Egyptians that, when you go, you will not go empty-handed;^(A)

²¹ But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him steadfast love; he gave him favor in the sight of the chief jailer.^(A)

⁹ I will make those of the synagogue of Satan who say that they are Jews and are not but are lying—I will make them come and bow down before your feet, and they will learn that I have loved you.^(A)

²² So Moses was instructed in all the wisdom of the Egyptians and was powerful in his words and deeds.^(A)

⁴ For Mordecai was powerful in the king’s palace, and his fame spread throughout all the provinces, because the man Mordecai was growing more and more powerful.^(A)

⁹ and I have been with you wherever you went and have cut off all your enemies from before you, and I will make for you a great name, like the name of the great ones of the earth.^(A)
