^22 (A)But every woman shall ask of her neighbor, namely, of her who dwells near her house, ^(B)articles of silver, articles of gold, and clothing; and you shall put them on your sons and on your daughters. So ^(C)you shall plunder the Egyptians.”

³⁵ Now the children of Israel had done according to the word of Moses, and they had asked from the Egyptians ^(A)articles of silver, articles of gold, and clothing. ^36 (B)And the Lord had given the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they granted them what they requested. Thus ^(C)they plundered the Egyptians.

^15 (A)Is it not lawful for me to do what I wish with my own things? Or ^(B)is your eye evil because I am good?’

¹⁰ I clothed you in embroidered cloth and gave you sandals of ^[a]badger skin; I clothed you with fine linen and covered you with silk. ¹¹ I adorned you with ornaments, ^(A)put bracelets on your wrists, ^(B)and a chain on your neck. ¹² And I put a ^[b]jewel in your nose, earrings in your ears, and a beautiful crown on your head. ¹³ Thus you were adorned with gold and silver, and your clothing was of fine linen, silk, and embroidered cloth. ^(C)You ate pastry of fine flour, honey, and oil. You were exceedingly ^(D)beautiful, and succeeded to royalty.
