²⁸ Then Pharaoh said to him, ^(A)“Get away from me! Take heed to yourself and see my face no more! For in the day you see my face you shall die!”

¹⁶ So it was, as he talked with him, that the king said to him, “Have we made you the king’s counselor? Cease! Why should you be killed?”

Then the prophet ceased, and said, “I know that God has ^(A)determined to destroy you, because you have done this and have not heeded my advice.”

¹⁰ Then Asa was angry with the seer, and ^(A)put him in prison, for he was enraged at him because of this. And Asa oppressed some of the people at that time.
