The Shining Face of Moses

²⁹ When Moses came down from Mount Sinai, with ^(A)the two tablets of the testimony in his hand as he came down from the mountain, Moses did not know that the skin of his face ^(B)shone because he had been talking with God.^[a]

² And he was ^(A)transfigured before them, and ^(B)his face shone like the sun, and ^(C)his clothes became white as light.

¹⁵ Then ^(A)Moses turned and went down from the mountain with the ^(B)two tablets of the testimony in his hand, tablets that were written on both sides; on the front and on the back they were written.

²⁹ And as he was praying, the appearance of his face was ^(A)altered, and ^(B)his clothing became dazzling white.

^16 (A)In his right hand he held seven stars, ^(B)from his mouth came a sharp two-edged sword, and ^(C)his face was like the sun shining ^(D)in full strength.
