¹⁵ The ^(A)rich shall not give more and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel, when you give an offering to the Lord, to make atonement for yourselves.

⁵⁰ Therefore we have brought an offering for the Lord, what every man found of ornaments of gold: armlets and bracelets and signet rings and earrings and necklaces, ^(A)to make ^[a]atonement for ourselves before the Lord.”

⁹ And you, masters, do the same things to them, giving up threatening, knowing that ^[a]your own ^(A)Master also is in heaven, and ^(B)there is no partiality with Him.

¹¹ For the ^(A)life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar ^(B)to make atonement for your souls; for ^(C)it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.’
