¹³ “And in all that I have said to you, ^(A)be circumspect and ^(B)make no mention of the name of other gods, nor let it be heard from your mouth.

⁷ and lest you ^(A)go^[a] among these nations, these who remain among you. You shall not ^(B)make mention of the name of their gods, nor cause anyone to ^(C)swear by them; you shall not ^(D)serve them nor bow down to them,

¹⁶ Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.

² “It shall be in that day,” says the Lord of hosts, “that I will ^(A)cut off the names of the idols from the land, and they shall no longer be remembered. I will also cause ^(B)the prophets and the unclean spirit to depart from the land.

⁹ Only take heed to yourself, and diligently ^(A)keep yourself, lest you ^(B)forget the things your eyes have seen, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life. And ^(C)teach them to your children and your grandchildren,
