Esther 3:4-6
New International Version
4 Day after day they spoke to him but he refused to comply.(A) Therefore they told Haman about it to see whether Mordecai’s behavior would be tolerated, for he had told them he was a Jew.
5 When Haman saw that Mordecai would not kneel down or pay him honor, he was enraged.(B) 6 Yet having learned who Mordecai’s people were, he scorned the idea of killing only Mordecai. Instead Haman looked for a way(C) to destroy(D) all Mordecai’s people, the Jews,(E) throughout the whole kingdom of Xerxes.
Esther 3:4-6
New King James Version
4 Now it happened, when they spoke to him daily and he would not listen to them, that they told it to Haman, to see whether Mordecai’s words would stand; for Mordecai had told them that he was a Jew. 5 When Haman saw that Mordecai (A)did not bow or pay him homage, Haman was (B)filled with wrath. 6 But he disdained to lay hands on Mordecai alone, for they had told him of the people of Mordecai. Instead, Haman (C)sought to destroy all the Jews who were throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus—the people of Mordecai.

Esther 3:4-6
King James Version
4 Now it came to pass, when they spake daily unto him, and he hearkened not unto them, that they told Haman, to see whether Mordecai's matters would stand: for he had told them that he was a Jew.
5 And when Haman saw that Mordecai bowed not, nor did him reverence, then was Haman full of wrath.
6 And he thought scorn to lay hands on Mordecai alone; for they had shewed him the people of Mordecai: wherefore Haman sought to destroy all the Jews that were throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus, even the people of Mordecai.

4 Now it was when they had spoken daily to him and he would not listen to them, that they told Haman to see whether Mordecai’s reason would [a]stand; for he had told them that he was a Jew. 5 When Haman saw that (A)Mordecai neither bowed down nor paid [b]homage to him, Haman was filled with rage. 6 But he [c]considered it beneath his dignity to [d]kill Mordecai alone, for they had told him who the people of Mordecai were; so Haman (B)sought to annihilate all the Jews, the people of Mordecai, who were found throughout the kingdom of Ahasuerus.
